Nice version here with Paul delivering his usual high
standard.
Debbie Bonham adds some vocals and the whole performance is
great.
Paul mentions Free didn’t do this song – but they did and there is
in fact a recording of it from the Sunderland show used for ‘Free Live!’ Sadly on the
previous number (Songs Of Yesterday) Koss had broken a string and then replaced it so after the solo in ‘Oh I Wept’ (and some serious vibrato) he’s a bit out of
tune when he comes back in with the chords – hence its never been released.
