Spike Live with Andy Fraser & Simon Kirke
SPIKE'S FREE HOUSE UK
featuring Simon Kirke & Andy Fraser from Free!
S.R.F are privileged to play host
to a very special appearance. The face and founder of The Quireboys,
Spike, delivers the first ever live performance of his eagerly
anticipated '100% Frankie Miller album.
This lauded release is comprised of previously unissued material by legendary Scot Frankie.
Following an episode of serious ill health, Frankie retired in 1994 leaving a wealth of original recorded but unpublished demos. At Frankie's request, Spike became the voice of these unheard gems, recording with collaborations from such industry stalwarts as Ronnie Wood, Bonnie Tyler, Ian Hunter, Luke Morley, Simon Kirke and Andy Fraser.
We are delighted to announce that alongside Spike, guest artists feature Free's own Simon Kirke and Andy Fraser. This landmark show at S.R.F 2015 marks the first time in 40 years that the original Free rhythm section have collaborated live .The set will incorporate Free classics plus both new and timeless Frankie Miller material as a tribute to a songwriting genius spanning four decades.
Further exciting guest artists will be added to the band lineup, so watch this space for continuous updates.
This impressive collective is sure to deliver. Could this be THE classic rock event of the year? Don't miss out!
